Darlene's Winter Menu 2012
"What kind of raw food diet meal plans to you follow?" Is a quesiton
in some form or another that I get daily here at Raw Food Diet
Inspiration.com from my amazing fresh friends. For all you that are
courious here it is my not so
exciting 2012 winter daily meal plan....
As the day goes by and I get hungry, I snack on some fresh fruit like grapes, clemitines, pineapple or bananas. I only eat when I am hungry, eat until full and I do practice a low fat raw vegan diet.
Around 5pm I will enjoy an Asian raw salad made with chopped baby bok choy, 2 stalks of celery, 1/4 red bell pepper, sea tangle kelp noodles, broccoli slaw, fresh peas and green onion with a mango, pineapple, red bell pepper dressing. Other times for dinner I will create a raw "pasta" of sorts made with sea tangle kelp noodles, thinly sliced romaine lettece, chopped tomatoes and peppers with a grape tomato, red bell pepper, sun-dried tomato, mango dressing.
This pretty much completes my day except for an occational bit of
fruit or some OJ from time to time. I practice not eating after 6pm
although with my schedule that doesn't always playout that way. I do
prefer to eat very little overt fats with the exception of a bit of
avocado or the
occational splerge at a raw cafe or couple bites of kale chips or raw
granola.
I hope this supports you in any way that inspires you to enjoy your
fresh food journey and develope your own raw food diet meal plans. I
have found that when
enjoying a raw food diet listening to my body works best ! If you feel
hungry and find yourself with
extra cravings, I have personally found more fruit to take the cravings
away. Another tip I have found to look and feel healthy is thinking
healthy
