Longevity Diet
Complete Spirit, Body and Mind Experience
After years of eating a raw food diet and reading many books about
health, happiness and self improvement I have come to an understanding
that in order to live a long and healthy life you must be extreme and
place importance on yourself.
As a woman I have found that I place everyone and possibly
everything else in my life ahead of myself.
It is important if you want
to have enough energy and health to give to others to first give to
yourself.
In 1991 after the birth of my second child I started to experience a dramatic decline in my health again. My whole childhood and young adult hood I had experienced more illness than I believe any child should experience.
After a bout with a near death experience at 10 years of age and
watching my dad in pain constant pain for 25 years I decided at 19
years young I would seek out health. Not the kind of health that comes
in a bottle or a joint but the kind of health that you experience
from the inside out. The kind of amazing health that feels so amazing
you believe you can accomplish anything!
I have found that a complete longevity diet is made up of more than just food, according to Dr. Doug Graham in his book The 80/10/10 diet and Natural Hygene there are sat least 32 elements to health and complete wellness:
When we want to achieve the best health and consume a complete
longevity diet, spirit, body and mind, all we need to do is look at the
this list and we can see the area of our life we may need to pay
attention to.
When I am feeling off in my health I look at this list and
immediately I know what area of my life I am neglecting.
Think about
your longevity diet as a complete experience of the senses, how much
and how fresh you eat, how often you laugh, smile and connect to
yourself and to others.
