Mock Tuna Salad

Another one of my favorite raw recipes. In the past, on my SAD diet, I was not much of a meat or fish fan. Although I did love a tuna sandwich once in a while. Since going vegan back in 1996 until 2008 I had not had a good vegan or raw mock tuna. In a food processor add 1 2 the nuts and seeds and blend well with dulse, lemon juice, garlic, sweetener and seasonings. Add the rest of the nuts and seeds to the mix and pulse chop leave a bit of chunks put in a bowl and mix in the veggies. Taste and adjust to your taste remembering Sweet, Sour, Spicy, Salty, Bitter.Put in a lettuce leaf then add a tomato slice, lemon-dill cucumber, sprouts, etc and ENJOY I love these sandwiches This is a fun raw vegan recipe to take to an office luncheon, wait until they have enjoyed the Toona then tell them its made with nuts.
