Day #9 Green Smoothie 10-Day Challenge

Day #9 Green Smoothie 10-Day Challenge:

Healthy Soil Healthy Food Healthy Body

Healthy soil creates nutrient rich organic fresh foods to nourish our body towards health. The more we can bring awareness and action to healthy organic farming, the more our body can return to health and feeling great.

All it takes 1% to 10% of our current population to create a positive change. Focus on what we want is key:

  • Health
  • Wellness
  • Fresh
  • Living
  • Youth

The first and foremost way to vote is to put your money where your belief is!

Our bodies want to feel healthy, be vibrant, and be 100% Nourished! Without minerals, vitamins, bacteria, and other nutrients within our soil, our foods will not be able to sustain our life much longer. With awareness we can all work together to take our current 2% organic matter soil back to 60-100% within less than 10 years.

Intention: Healthy organic soil grows healthy people.

The proof in organics is in the numbers “I like to say numbers talk and crap, well that too can be composted for healthy soil!”

Percent of Dry Weight Total Mineral Ash

  • Cabbage
  • Organic(org):10.38
  • Conventional(con):6.12
  • Org:24.48
  • Con:7.01
  • Org:14.20
  • 6.07
  • 28.56
  • 12.38

In addition vitamin B-12 cannot absorb without cobalt and conventional foods contain no cobalt. There are many people defiant in B-12 and more and more conventional foods, I think there could be a link.

Organic Foods And The Cost

Intention: Grow and/or purchase foods grown in organic, living, healthy soil!

Each week I go to Trader Joe’s to buy some of my organic produce I purchase a bag of 3 organic romaine hearts, the cost $2.29. There is a bag of 3 conventional romaine hearts and the cost $1.99. I could save $.29 in my wallet, get about 25% or less nutrients and provide my body with less. What’s the point? I will spend $.29 cents more for organic any day!

As long as I am eating organic, in season, the cost is either at conventional prices or at times below conventional prices. Our family of 5′s total weekly organic food budget is from $225.00 to $300 or under $43.00 a day.

As far as our health cost on organic foods, we NEVER go to a doctor. Why?

We are not sick. Yes, we may get a bit under our optimum health and when we do we drink water and at times just green smoothies. Our health care costs are in our fresh organic foods.

If you COULD pay half for a conventional apple or lettuce and the nutrients are less then half and then your health is less then half, are you saving anything?

As for the cost of conventional growing on the environment we live in. I want clean water to drink, clean air to breathe, healthy soil to grow the plants I eat. I want this for you, my children, and future generations.

Over the past 100 years we continue to witness that conventional growing practices are failing. *We can conclude that chemical fertilizers could never enrich the living soil but could damage or even destroy it with the most devastating consequences for plants, animals, and people.
